- Cutthroat triggers, gaining you 1 life, and draining one opponent for 1 life
- Pay 1 life to Yawgmoth, Sacrifice Wolf, and draw a card
- Wolf comes back with a +1/+1 counter
- Target Stangleroot with the -1/-1 counter, which cancels out both the +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters
- Cutthroat triggers, gaining you 1 life, and draining one of your opponents for 1 life
- Start the cycle again until your opponents are dead
